The Pisciotta Medal was established to recognise these exceptional contributions and to celebrate the people who have fundamentally changed Pentana Solutions’ culture, fabric and spirit.
A medal built on legacy
Wal Pisciotta OAM established Pentana Solutions in 1974 with a passionate desire to help customers improve their businesses.
Wal led the company as CEO for 26 years and brought an extraordinary vision to what Pentana Solutions could become. His leadership was grounded in a belief that people are at the heart of everything we do. Our people, our customers, and the relationships we build with them.
The Pisciotta family paves an enduring legacy for our company, and it is with pride and gratitude that this award is named in their honour. The medal was created to share that legacy and recognise individuals who continue to reflect Wal’s vision through their actions and influence.
What does the Pisciotta Medal recognise?
The Pisciotta Medal is presented in exceptional circumstances, bestowed on an individual, whether a member of our organisation or an external person or key associate, who has fundamentally changed Pentana Solutions’ culture, fabric and spirit. The medal is not simply a recognition of length of service or position. It celebrates the impact a person has made and the way they have helped Pentana Solutions become a stronger organisation.

Celebrating the 2026 Pisciotta Medallists
In 2026, Pentana Solutions is proud to recognise three individuals with the Pisciotta Medal:
Ric Collins
Recognised posthumously for his longstanding relationship with Pentana Solutions, his support as a customer and Dealer Principal, and his passionate advocacy for our products and services.
Bill Robinson
Recognised for 30 years of service, his contribution as a founding shareholder, Partner and Board member, and the lasting customer and leadership relationships he built across the business.
Bernard Lubin
Recognised for 31 years of dedicated service, customer-focused innovation, knowledge sharing and his contribution to the development of Pentana Solutions’ products and history.
Each recipient has contributed in a different way. Their stories demonstrate the broad impact that one person can have on our organisation – through their work, relationships, and values.
