Three reports to provide clarity to your business

Service Menu – Invoice RO by Date

Overview

The Invoiced RO by Date report provides a monthly trend of results for your Service Department. Showing RO Counts, Sales, Gross, GP%, Hours Worked, Hours Sold with colour conditioning for results below expected values, the Invoiced RO by Date report can be used to identify where strengths / weaknesses are in the Service Department over time

Report Type : Quick Report (Summary to Detail)

Benefits

In one report it is easy to understand trended sales results for your entire service department – with colour conditioning of exceptions below your pre-determined levels (eg. Labour Gross below 78%).

You are prompted for Sale Types and Date Ranges for the report.

You can choose all sale types – or only a specific sale type (eg. Fleet).

The report shows trended information by month for the date range chosen, and sale type/s chosen.

How many RO’s were completed, what the Sales $, GP$ and GP% is, Sold Hours versus Worked Hours comparison, Labour Gross, Parts Gross, Sublet Gross, POL Gross and Miscellaneous Gross margins – each with colour conditioning (red for below-expected margin).

You can expand to identify the specific RO that affected margin sales and then take appropriate action on the identified results.

This helps reduce profit leaks, and also identify skills training requirements for your service department.

Used Vehicle Menu – Inventory Stocking Profile Report

The Inventory Stocking Profile Report profiles your used vehicle inventory to your sales history via several different perspectives (age, sale price, make, sale month, source of vehicle) so that you can better stock your used vehicle yard to customer demand and, therefore, maximise profit.

Report Type: Quick Report (Summary to Expansion)

Summary

This report profiles your used vehicle inventory by 6 different categories to provide clearer understanding of your used vehicle yard profile.

Is your price range correct, are you stocking the right makes / carlines, are you trying too hard (or not hard enough) on trade-ins.

Benefits

Being able to profile your Used Vehicle Inventory easily is a key to stocking properly within your used vehicle yard/s.

Understanding by age, by price, by make, by year, by source which vehicles return you the best Gross Profit and Return on Investment, which ones sell quicker and which ones make the most gross profit, can result in improved stocking of used inventory and, therefore, result in greater turnover of stock and, therefore, more profit in the department.

Service Menu – Service Retention Report

Overview

The Service Retention Report identifies how well you are retaining your customers that you sold vehicles to. Only customers that you previously sold a vehicle to are part of the Service Retention Reporting. A trended timeline over the last 2 years measures your retention.

Report Type: Quick Report (Summary to Expansion)

Summary

When running the report, you are prompted to choose either New Vehicle Sales only (N), Used Vehicle Sales only (U) or Both New and Used (B).

The ‘New Sale Types’ pick list allows you to identify sales of vehicles only for a particular sale type.

This report identifies for vehicle sales which customers have returned for a service.

Expansion allows identification of those Vehicle Sales that have been retained and those that have not been retained through service. You can then market to those who have not been retained.

Benefits

Retained customers provide greater opportunities – to re-sell vehicles to in the future, to service more, to upsell (warranty extension etc), to target promote.

They realise greater profit margins compared to first-time customers. Marketing costs to them are less than first-time customers. They indicate you are doing the right things by your customers – and your brand and lead to increased fixed costs coverage.

Put simply – retained customers make more money for your dealership at less cost.
