The MDS Consultant is responsible for providing system solutions in the MDS applications to customer requirements. This will be achieved through working closely with customers, Sales, subject matter experts (SMEs) and other key stakeholders to understand and identify business requirements.

THE ROLE:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Present the product to our customers
• Continually enhance and drive innovation of the product
• Work with customers to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs
• Ensure that the product complies with all statutory and legislation requirements
• Identify customer development requests that would benefit the core product
• Create documents that include approaches of solutions, functional design, technical design, test cases, technical design etc
• Perform quality control testing
• Assist in implementations – projects
• Training and user support
• Participate in post implementation reviews
• Provide regular training sessions on our products for staff
• Investigate and recommend new features and processes for the product
• Assist the sales team as directed and agreed with management
• Any other reasonable requests as determined by management

WHO YOU ARE:

Professional;

• 5 years’ experience in supply chain / automotive product development;
• In depth knowledge of MDS Distribution product
• Strong analytical skills
• Be delivery and results focused
• Have good attention to detail and set high standards
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects at once
• Be decisive and tenacious when delivering projects
• Strong Time Management skills to set priorities resolve issues and make decisions
• Be commercially focused on product outcomes

Personal;

• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent at building strong relationships
• Be articulate and be able to converse with management and customers at all levels
• Be pragmatic when approaching tasks
• Be passionate and creative in the products we deliver
