An exciting opportunity now exists for a Product Manager to join our Innovations Department. Reporting to the Development Manager your primary focus will be to drive product direction and future vision for the Sipad.x and Sipad.Power solutions that Pentana Solutions develop and deliver to the automotive industry. This will be achieved through working closely with key stakeholders and customers to understand and identify market trends and from there design products that leverage current technologies and deliver engaging and robust applications which help drive our customers’ success.
The Role:
- Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ownership of the Sipad.x and Sipad.Power products throughout the product lifecycle
- Represent and demonstrate the products to our customers
- Set the future strategic direction of the Sipad.x and Sipad.Power solutions and product roadmaps
- Investigate and recommend new features, processes and innovation of the product
- Act as a conduit between Sales, Innovations, Field Services and our customers for our products
- Be on the forefront of emerging technologies, processes and practises within our markets
- Create requirements documentation that includes the “need” and “why” for the products
- Provide regular training and information sessions on our products for staff
- Ensure that the product complies with all statutory and legislation requirements
Who you are:
Professional
- Extensive knowledge and experience of automotive business processes, such as Accounting, Vehicles, Parts and Service
- In depth knowledge of one or more DMS applications
- A background in the automotive industry is highly desirable
