If you want to join a team that is continually driving toward the future, an exciting opportunity now exists for a Installation Consultant. Reporting to the Installation Lead, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for the successful installation of software and solutions for Pentana Solutions clients. Along with their team, they will ensure each installation is delivered in line with SLA’s, according to compliance, guidelines and meets industry standards and customer expectations.

The Role:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • System set-up
  • Installation Training
  • Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with Pentana Solutions customers, and act as the main point of contact for updates and queries
  • Work closely with the team and other business units to ensure SLA’s are met and appropriate resources are available to resolve issues
  • Facilitate pre-installation meetings and configure the software as per customer requirements and specifications
  • Ensure software is configured and ready for User Acceptance Testing, conduct User Acceptance training and support when scheduled
  • Contribute to Pilot Testing where applicable
  • Ensure proper 3rd level customer support in case of rework linked to the original set-up
  • General administration, including updating of and documentation of processes and training material/manuals
  • According to their manager, apply a continuous circle of professional development in order to ensure proper knowledge and expertise with the customer, to understand the specific needs.
  • Produce and share with customer/internally punctual reporting for sign-off, at the end of any intervention
  • Ensure punctual feedback regarding issues or outstanding, reporting to the direct manager or installation team leader, in order to take proper actions for resolution
  • Keep all training material updated
  • Proactively support all clients training needs before, during and after the install project, escalating concerns as needed
  • Facilitate any training to staff internally, as needed

Who you are:


  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of business and/or dealership acumen and processes
  • A background in the automotive industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management


  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate to all levels of a business
  • Resilient and adaptable with strong negotiation skills
  • Well-developed conflict management skills
  • Pragmatic, with a critical thinking mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail
